Disaster is a sudden great misfortune. Disaster can be by means of nature or by means of accidents upon people.
It is hard to avoid, yet, we can help by not being the source or root of these disasters.
But these disasters and accidents are part of our lives, by that, what else can we do? Nothing much but depend upon the rescue team of our city. This is where Pasig City comes into view.
Pasig City is number one in disaster preparedness as evident for its being the Most Outstanding City Award in Disaster Management.
The team did a lot of research and interviews for Pasig Ready Alert Prepared in Disasters or in short “Pasig RAPID”.
With the help of our research and interviews we were able to prove that Pasig is really worth it upon being declared as number one in disaster awareness.
Pasig city's rescue team went through seminars and undergone different kinds of trainings, that's why they know exactly what to do or how to react during accidents and in times of disasters.
They respond quickly and rapidly because they are equipped with tools and machines needed for different kinds of disasters and accidents.
But in the end the most important ingredient of the rescue team to function well is working as a team, because working alone you can do little but as a team they can do so much. Another is doing their job with their hearts. Our rescue team choose this job not because of how much they earn or by how many benefits they get but because it is their passion. Helping others makes them happy and satisfied.
Even though a person went through seminars or undergone trainings or equipped with tools and machines for accidents and disasters, they will never be able to do their job fully if they don’t even like what they are doing. Loving what you do is important to achieve success in everything. That is the reason why Pasig City is NUMBER ONE in disaster awareness.
